Window tint

How much does car window tint cost?

What is the difference between ceramic, carbon and dyed tint?

Dyed film is the budget option and fades over time. Carbon holds its color and rejects a fair amount of heat. Ceramic costs more and blocks the most infrared heat, which is what you feel in July. How long does tint installation and curing take?

Plan on a few hours in the shop for most full-car installs, longer if old film has to come off first. The film then cures over the following days depending on the weather. Confirm drop-off, pickup and when you can roll the windows down again before you leave.

When can I roll my windows down after tinting?

Keep the windows up for the first few days after install so the film can cure to the glass. Cold or humid weather stretches that window and summer sun shortens it. We give you the exact wait for your film at pickup.

How long does window tint last?

Quality film installed clean lasts for years, and the film line’s warranty tells you how many the manufacturer stands behind. Cheap dyed film is the kind that turns purple and bubbles. Before you approve any tint job, ask which film line is going on and what its warranty covers.

Do you remove old or failing tint?

Yes. Old, purple or bubbling film comes off before new film goes on. Baked-on adhesive takes extra labor, so tell us about existing film when you ask for an estimate.

CarPlay & audio

Can you add CarPlay or a backup camera to my car?

Compatibility depends on the current screen, audio system and steering-wheel controls. Call with the year, make, model and factory equipment so the integration can be checked first. The two retrofit paths are covered in adding CarPlay to your car.

Remote start

Will remote start work with my vehicle?

Coverage varies by product and service. Confirm the product name, labor coverage, exclusions and who handles an issue before you approve the work.
